  1.enable the ss to master the verbs’ form of singular personal pronouns: lives, teaches, goes, watches and reads.

  teaching steps:

  step1: warm-up

  1.greetings: introduce myself.

  how do you feel?

  what day is it today? it’s thursday.

  what do you usually do/have on thursdays? i usually …

  do you usually climb mountains/water the flowers/plant the trees?

  2.let the students ask me some questions.

  3.free talk: something about what they do every day.

  (practise sentence form “do you ….? yes, i do/ no, i don’t)

  step2: presentation

  1. still talk with the students, talk about their teachers, their best friends, their parents, and so on.

  (lead them to use “ yes, he / she does. / no, he / she doesn’t.” to answer the question “does he / she ….?”

  2. talk about if the students have their pen pals. talk about their daily life.

  then, tell them i have a pen pal, too. his name’s zhou jielun. he’s not the super singer, but a common teacher.

  ask “do you want to know something about him?”

  show the short passage of “tom’s day”

  3. let them read it after teacher together.

  4. ask them some questions:

  where does zhou tom live? (he lives in shanghai.)

  unit 4 i have a pen pal 第一课时

  【教学目标】

  1.知识目标:

  1).能够听、说、认读下列动词短语的ing 形式 :collecting stamps, riding a bike, diving, playing the violin, making kites

  2).能够听、说、认读句子:what is your hobby? i like collecting stamps. what about you ?并在现实生活中能够灵活运用,做到语音准确,语调自然。

  2.能力目标:

  能够熟练运用所学知识询问和简单描述业余爱好;能够在group work 中灵活自然地与他人进行交流。提高学生的口头语言表达能力,学会用英语做事情。

  3. 情感目标:

  鼓励学生发展广泛的兴趣与爱好,培养学生乐于与人交往的性格。

  【教学重点难点】

  教学重点:掌握五个四会动词短语的-ing形式。 

  教学难点:动词短语圆形与-ing形式的区分及句型 “what’s your hobby? i like ….” 的灵活运用。 

  【教学准备】

  单词卡片、图片、实物、录音、教学课件、flash动画。

  教学过程:

  step1.warm-up

  sing an english song together:< i love going hiking>.

  设计目的:让学生在唱唱、做做的轻松气氛中进入学习状态。

  step2. lead-in.

  listen and answer.

  活动方式:

  通过多媒体播放课前教师准备的录音:“there are four people in my family. my father likes reading books. my mother likes cooking. my brother likes watching tv. i like singing.

  要求学生根据听力材料说说家庭成员的爱好。

  教师出示课件创设情境 ,猜单词“hobby”

  there is a word, it has five letters……

  设计目的:在训练挺立的同时提高学生的语言表达能力,并为新课的导入作铺垫。

  step3.presentation.

  do you know this word? how to read it? yes, it’s hobby. it means “爱好”。today we are going to talk about hobbies.(师领读并操练单词)

  教师板书“hobby”

  1. teacher asks, “hello!do you like…? what’s your hobby?”

  “you are so clever.…is your hobby. but do you know my hobby? i like riding a bike.

  此时先板书 “ ride a bike” ,出示课件领读并操练,做动作,帮助学生理解汉语意思。然后师说:

  if i say, my hobby is...,or i like…,i must say “riding a bike”.此时再板书: “riding a bike”. 并操练:what’s your hobby ? i like riding a bike.

  2.教师出示课件图片跳水王后郭晶晶, 并说:i like riding a bike. but what’s guo jinging’s hobby? 学生一起说:跳水。

  教师说:yes, diving. guo jingjing likes diving. (pay attention to “diving”) 板书“dive diving”

  students read it several times. and then practice it in pairs like this:

  a: what’s her hobby?

  b: she likes diving.

  3. 教师播放一段录像——一个小女孩拉小提琴。

  after watching, teacher asks, “what is the little girl doing? is it wonderful? can you play the violin very well?” 板书“play the violin playing the violin”

  students read it several times and practice it in pairs like this:

  a: do you like playing the violin?

  b: yes, i do. /no, i don’t.

  4.教师出示只风筝

  teacher asks, “what’s this? do you like flying kites?”

  students answer freely.

  teacher says, “oh, many people like flying kites, but some others like making kites.” 教师出示一位老先生制作风筝的图片。

  teacher asks, “what’s the old man’s hobby?” students volunteer to answer it. 板书“make kites making kites”

  students read it several times and practice it like this one by one:

  i think … like(s) making kites.

  5. 教师出示一些漂亮的邮票,学习“collect stamps collecting stamps”

  students read it several times. and they can read it in different ways.

  设计目的:利用道具,图片,有声动画演示新的动词词组,使呈现更加直观形象,生动有趣,有利于提高学生的学习热情,增强学习效果。

  step 4. drill

  read the five phrases several times.

  设计目的:利用比赛、游戏和歌谣的方式吸引学生主动参与活动,使学生掌握所学动词短语。

  step5. practice

  教师利用多媒体课件展示一些其它的业余爱好的图片。例如:

  collecting match boxes

  playing ping-pong

  drawing pictures

  swimming

  fishing

  boating….

  practice the dialogue in pairs:

  a: hello. what’s your hobby?

  b: i like(my hobby is)….. what about you?

  a: oh, i like(my hobby is)….

  设计目的:扩展词汇,扩大学生的知识面,发挥学生的主体性,培养学生的想象力,训练句型。

  step6. further practice.

  小记者采访活动。

  通过小记者采访活动,调查一下小组成员的爱好,并完成报告。

  学生可自愿把自己的调查报告与全体同学共同分享。教师给予鼓励与表扬。

  设计目的:吸引学生兴趣,同时学生用所学知识去解决实际问题。

  step7. consolidation.

  1.教师播放多媒体课件(课前教师提前准备的录音)“超人小考堂”

  2、猜明星

  设计目的:通过一些练习题,达到只是回顾与反馈的效果。同时采取一些学生喜欢的形式,使学生兴致高涨。

  step8. homework.

  1.学生坐本单元a let’s learn 部分的活动手册配套练习。

  2.让学生听let’s learn 部分的录音,读给家长或同伴听。

  3.让学生背诵并抄写本课四会动词(短语)。

  单元总览

  一、单元教学目标

  1、能力目标

  (1)能够询问和简单描述业余爱好,如:what’s your hobby?i iike collecting stamps.he iikes collecting stamps,too.

  (2)能够用一般在时的一般疑问句形式询问他人的住处、工作等情况并作答,如:does he live in the city?yes,he dose.does he teach english?no,he doesn’t.he teaches art.

  (3)能够听懂、会唱歌曲”my pen pal”

  2、知识目标

  (1)能够掌握a、b部分let’s learn,let’s talk中的四会单词和四会句子。

  (2)能够听、说、认读a、b部分let’s talk,let’s read中的白体句子。

  (3)能够认计pronunciation部分的音标,并能读出例词。

  (4)能够理解let’s chant部分的内容。

  (5)能够了解story time,good to know, task time等部分的内容。

  3、情感、策略、文化等有关目标

  (1)情感态度:鼓励学生发展广泛兴趣与爱好,培养学生乐于与会交往的性格。

  (2)学习策略:积极运用学语文进行表达与交流,加强合作,共同完成学习任务。

  (3)文化目标:了解一些英语书信的基本知识。

  二、单元内容分析

  1、本单元的教学重点是有关业余爱好的英语表达和一般现在时的简单用法,主要句型是:what’a your hobby?i like…he likes…does he live in the city?yes,he does.no,he doesn’t.难点是一般现在时等三人称单数陈述句和一般疑问句的正确运用。本单元涉及的大部分动词短语在前六册学生用书中已经出现过,如:go to work,watch tv,rews papers等等,教师在教学中应注意激活学生的记忆,以旧引新,引导学生熟练掌握。

  2、六年级学生已具备了一定的英语基础,在三年多的学习中接触并掌握大量的句型和动词词汇。在教学中,教师要尽量多地联系学生学过的知识,帮助学生在有限的课时里不断巩固所学知识。同时,教学活动的设计也要体现梯度和层次,因材施教,让每一位学生在感知、实践、参与、合作中实现任务的目标,体验成功的喜悦。

  3、本册教材比前几册教材内容有所增加。在课时有限的情况下,教师可根据实际情况适当进行取舍,但c部分的pronunciation尽量不要舍弃。
